Roswell, Georgia is a northern suburb of Atlanta. A rich heritage has been well-preserved throughout the historic downtown corridor.
These images capture the beauty of three mansions/plantation homes located in the city. Barrington Hall is situated on the highest point in Roswell and was completed in 1842 by Barrington King. Bulloch Hall was the 1840s childhood home of Mittie Bulloch, President Theodore Roosevelt’s mother. Smith Plantation was a 300-acre plantation complete with numerous outbuildings and slave quarters.
