Mark Walter began honing his photography skills in high school with his first SLR camera.  His eye for composition helped him receive recognition while attending college.

Recently his passion for photography was reignited with the purchase of a digital SLR in January 2007.  Since that time, Mark has actively participated in the Roswell Photographic Society with his work selected for several monthly review awards and semi-annual juried shows.

In July 2009 Mark’s photo was selected as photo of the week at MSNBC.com in their “It’s a Snap” competition.

In September 2009 Mark’s photo was selected as the cover photo of “ShowTime” magazine, a trade magazine for the carnival industry.

In December 2009 Mark’s photo was selected for the inside of the North Point Live audio CD package.

Mark and his wife Shelly reside in Alpharetta, Georgia.
